Apply for a Motorcycle
After you’ve been in a not at fault motorcycle accident, you can apply for an accident replacement motorcycle online or by calling our team on 1300 238 503. We’ll ask you to provide us with all the relevant information we need to process your claim.
If you are submitting an application online and are unable to provide us with all the necessary information at the time of submitting the form, we may be in touch with you to get the additional details we need.
Assessment and Approval
Once we receive your application for not at fault motorcycle hire, our team will work to help you get back on the road quickly after a not at fault motorcycle accident. We aim to provide approval within 24 – 48 hours of receiving your completed application. However, if your car isn’t drivable immediately following an accident, we may be able to deliver an accident replacement vehicle to you at the scene of the accident.
Motorcycle Delivery
Once we provide you with approval, we’ll book in the date for your replacement motorcycle delivery. You’ll also receive the relevant documentation that you’ll need to sign.
After confirming a suitable date and time with you, one of our representatives will meet you at a location that’s convenient for you (home, work, repairer) to deliver the motorcycle.
Please note that we do collect your credit card information in case we need to process charges at the end of your hire.
During Hire
Motorcycle Return
While you’re using our replacement motorcycle, you are expected to cover the costs of fuel, tolls (and their related administrative fees) and traffic or parking infringements (and their related administrative fees) as you would in your own motorcycle.
Once your motorcycle has been repaired or you’ve received your settlement, VTP Recoveries will arrange a suitable time and place with you to collect the replacement motorcycle.

Once our vehicle has been returned, we recover the costs of your hire through the at fault party or their insurer. In some cases, we may require your assistance in the recovery process.
